advice on campsites please

We are planning to travel to le mans this year for the first time and despite it being probally too late how can we get campsite passes and where should we stay for max atmosphere? please help

Your right - you're too late, but if you try www.lemans.org they may have some Beausejour camping permits left.  If you check to rest of the forum you will see much discussion on what camp site is best.  Just get to the greatest motor race on the planet, you WILL have a great time  :)

Trawl this forum and the 'Help' section.  In between all the bullshit and nonsense there is some useful stuff.

For tickets, you could try the ACO direct or Nadine at the LM tourist board.  Alternatively, hang fire here and see what turns up in the 'Sell Swap' section.

Hi group,
I am new to all this i have been to Lemans the last 2 years and the pre quals last year but always tickets and camping passes have bee sorted for me.This year i have to sort it myself ,Where is the best place to get general addmission  tickets and 1 camping pass ? We have been on bleu before but we want a change. i know i am too late to get on MB any adivse.

If you get absolutly stuck for a pitch, you can pitch at the back of Car Park Blue - small tent beside your car is generally ok. Dont leave it much later than Thursday evening - not realy legal but has always happened. One tip though - no bogs or showers, so dont eat sweetcorn, unless you particually good at running with clenched buttocks. :-* :-* :-*
