sharing grandstand tickets?
« on: February 18, 2005, 07:20:07 pm »
I'm going to LM with a group of friends and was wondering if it's possible to share one or two grandstand ticket.  Can I sit for an hour and then let someone else have it?  I figure they're probably something in the T's & C's about that but does anyone check?

Thanks!

Your photos not on the ticket so, as long as you pass the ticket and the contramark to your mate, he'll get into the grandstands.

Hi there Mike,
I have a grandstand seat, and a very nice one it is too.
I'll be occupying it most of the weekend, but you're welcome to sit on my lap.
Embarassment shouldn't be a problem, there's a lot of it goes on in that particular grandstand, and it's handy for the toilets. Unusually, there's often a few empty seats as well...

Big H - just in case I find myself in the need of an emergency "Queensway" (massive clearout - carpet retailing slang) - I've forgotten if you are based on MB? If you are I'll hang on until I reach the safety of the motorhome rather than risk a public conveinience. Which is a shame, as many are so well looked after these days that you could eat your breakfast off them...
