Smokie, would it help if some of us (mentioning no names!) deleted some of the crap we've appended over the last few months.

I mean who wants to look at crappy old British Leyland cars and Rootes Group vans anyway?

My tactic is to generally try to link pictures in my posts that are hosted elsewhere (either by me or hijacked from other websites) to free up the upload folder.

Instead of downloading the picture to your PC, then doing the 'browse....attach' bit at the bottom of the submit post window, I search for the photo (assuming it's a suitable size), find the address of the photo by right clicking on it / click properties / and highlighting and copying the file address.

Then, in the body of my post, I use the picture frame icon
and copy the source picture address between the square brackets.

This frees up the upload folder for Rick Cutler to fill.

Bugger, I've just divulged an official secret.
