London - what a drag...!!!

I'll have to see - looks like I might be out in Essex on Friday so I could either scoot in on the way past (but I'm not sure I can afford the parking!!) or get back here and jump on the train.

You know it makes sense Geoff, as does dropping off the car and training it so you can have a drink!

BTW, after missing the train home on the last two CA get togethers (Reading and London)  Roll Eyes I MUST get to Waterloo on time for a sensible train on Friday. Can someone please ensure I leave the pub by 11.15pm and head straight for Waterloo!!

I told you Mark. I'll see if I can buy a grown-up at Asda's. That way we might both get home at a reasonable hour!  Wink Grin

I must have gone down the wrong aisle again because I didnt' see any adults, just single mums pushing their fake Burberry pushchairs along with one hand while shoplifting with the other!

(No offence intended to genuine shoplifters!)

Funnily enough I was in Waitrose at the weekend and there was an announcement on the tannoy. It asked the owner of a white XR3i cabriolet if he could please move his car to ASDA where it belongs.  Grin

Smoking Man, I'm getting the train in from Colchester - alternatives for you would be anywhere along the Liverpool Street line, or park up on the end of the Central Line (Newbury Park, Epping, Woodford etc) and take the tube.

I used to live at Billericay and my schooling was in Woodford so I know the routes. And what you propose isn't a bad idea!

But then I have to get home again!

Judging from this morning, if you want to get home tonight, I'd start now.

What is the congestion charge being spent on?
