Paddling Pool Safety
« on: May 28, 2005, 05:59:24 pm »
A quick mention that with all that beer & those "low fliers" going round, team organisers should ideally conduct a risk assessment and carefully consider paddling pool safety...

Slippery grass, electric cables, broken beer bottles etc etc. Anyway - suggest you derisk it and appoint your very own paddling pool safety officer. We have!

If you want to know our "rules" as a starter I've posted them here...

Solid advice as usual Toadster,
I read and nodded sagely throughout, till I got to the last paragraph, when I almost choked on my Ryvita and Dairylea and had to rush to the fridge for a litre of San Miguel.
"No Petting"!!! Holy Moly!
"Not even with Nurses"!!! Jiminy Cricket!!
Well, time is tight, and I've only a small log-on, but what the hell else are nurses for, jesus-H-water-into-wine-christ!
I propose we ship some nurses in and try to beef up the nurse/paddling pool ratio.
I've a little nurse uniform of my own, by the way.
H
PS has someone been fiddling with my glasses?

The" little nurse uniform of your own" sounds a little worrying

We had a major problem with a swingers convention over on Technoparc about 4 years ago - some of them were nurses, or claimed to be - they were all over our team like a rash...so I had to speak with our pool safety officer to sort that out as it didn't look very British...

Our man is now always on duty, well in the 2 hours each day between sleep, being drunk and being hung over!!

PS H - postie delivered the "item" last week. Thanks again!
