Question: as this is the first time in 14 trips( for me more for Ian ) that we have used the Vomit comet, ( Fast Craft ) out of pompey, can anyone tell me if it has a duty free type of shop, as we are out next Sunday we need to stock up on liquid refreshments as no Super markets are open in France on a Sunday.
Answers on a post card.

This is a post card- OK

It does have a duty free shop or at least it did when run by P&O. Not strictly duty free these days.

If going to Cherbourg, there is (was) a P&O superstore next to the exit from the port. May be worth checking to se if it's open.

The P&O Ferry did have duty free!! The ferry purchased by Brittany Ferries is much bigger!!! Therefore I would guess it has a shop. On the exit from Caen there is the small intermarche which may be open until 12. I think your ferry docks at around 11.
I would suggest buying a case in th UK! Thats what we are doing.

Brian

The P&O shop in Cherbourg is closed. As they dont sail there anymore .

The Brittany Ferries Express has a tax free shop, fairly small, but will sell booze and fags.
