the strike is planned (but I'm really not sure of their determination) for one day only, but due to the time they need to regulate the traffic to return to normal time, it could last also wednesday morning, mostly affecting trains and metros in Paris.

I'm investigating some unions' HQs to know more about it !

Just a vote of thanks for your information. Makes it a lot easier for those of us travelling around the time of the proposed action to be a little more sure of uninterrupted journeys to La satrhe.
