I can burn some as soon as my brother gets home from Germany, it's this weekend as far as I know!

I could also bring a few along to Silverstone for the LMES, perhaps with extra footage :)

Mike:

A class production.  Everyone who's been doing Le Mans saw so much of their own good times reflected in your film.  A must for newbies in 06 to get a taste of what they're in for!

Mike, that is a fantastic video, but you knew that already.

It shows how good it was for you all but also is so good at doing the whole Le Mans thing that I may never need to go back anymore.... (OK Sheer absolute bullsh... but you ALL know what I mean)

Your brother is outstandingly good at making these videos I hope he gets lots of money for doing them. I could offer copies from mine but I think maybe he should have the option of making a few quid from it first. Let us know what he says on his return. I really do not want to take anything from him.

I was sitting here watching it (Cannot believe it has been sitting quietly in its little folder waiting for me to turn the sound backon and play it) and it told me everything I ever wanted to know about a bunch of blokes doing a French field, camping thing while there was a motor race on.

Total respect!

 :D

Well thanks for the comments everyone, I'll let my brother have a read. He's home now, so we'll sort out whether we can do some copies of it tomorrow and I'll let you know.

Hi all, thanks very much for all the comments, I'm really flattered by it all.

To answer a few questions:

It's zipped because there are a lot of people who browse the Internet and don't know about the magic "save target as" button, and would just click the link, therefore, trying to stream a 45MB file and probably giving up when nothing happens. If it's zipped you have to save it.

In terms of equipment, it's a very basic setup. Sony DCR HC18 Mini DV camcorder, and a semi fisheye lens attachment (not always used). Only around £320 worth of kit when new.

The music was DJ Tiesto - Forever Today.

No, I don't work in the media, I wish I did, I'm only 20 and currently looking for a job as I've just finished an IT degree, if you want to employ me for video please get in touch! :P It's certainly something I would love to do. I currently work in Jessops, so photography and video are a big hobby of mine.

About high quality CDs/DVDs, I've got the source DV Avi sitting on my desktop weighing in at 2.5GB, I can probably do some DVDs or CDs, CDs are probably easier, and will still retain a lot of quality I reckon.

Again, thanks a lot for the comments, it's greatly appreciated. 8)

Keep the video as part of your portfolio.....should help you in you job search.

I'm no expert at these things, but as everyone else has said, the video was fantastic - even made a chip butty look interesting.

Best of luck

I will say it again, the video is excellent. I have shown it to quite a few people including 2 of our guys that are not online as much as they would like to be. I would be very interested in a hard copy as what with other video will keep me going till 2006. Thanks again for sharing....Ian

That was very cool to watch, it makes me want to go back as soon as possible, but unfortunately I´ll have to wait like everyone else for almost 11 months :-[.

Loved your choice of music, Tiesto rules, gotta love the dutch!!

I have given up on being on facebook and myspace, I kept mixing them up and invited people to come on Myface!

Martyn or Mike H,

Any further news on the CD/DVD?

BTW My offer to copy and distribute still stands.
