OK, just asking if anyone or who is thinking about going to Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta.

I am planning on going, but hit a major stumbling block today when the pay deal got rejected on which I was counting on the back pay, dated back to January to finance my flight.

However, I am all set for making the trip though so may well book it anyway and hit the plastic and hope that the pay deal sorts itself out sooner rather than later and in enough time to pay off the credit card.

I bet Road Atlanta is a mess right now, Atlanta got something like 4 inches of rain the other day from Dennis.  My little sis lives over in Augusta (clear over on the Georgia-South Carolina border) and they got socked with two inches in about three hours.  Road Atlanta may take the rest of the summer to dry out!

Nothing for certain yet, but I'm hopeful of being there.

....just a spit and a holler from Stubbsville, (cue duelling banjo's soundtrack). Just kidding John.
Buford GA got 5 in rain in 24 hours Sun/Mon, so a trifle damp at the moment.

There was something on the Weather Channel about a tornado hitting the Atlanta Speedway, not Road Atlanta track.  It did a lot of damage to the NASCAR track so it may be out of commission for awhile.  Pictures of buildings down, tower down, etc.

I'm going -- will be camping at Turn 10 with the ALMS people and cheering on the Speed World Challenge boys most especially.   Grin  I also have a piece in the program which ran in the earlier Road Atlanta program too -- on Chili Pepper Racing.

Randy,

I am definately coming. Just booked the flight last night and also my Talladega tickets. There will be my dad and myself. We should be arriving at Road Atlanta mid afternoon on the Thursday and will need space to pitch a 3 man dome tent. If possible i would like to pitch it near all the Turn 10 crew.

Do I need a car parking pass as well as the camping pass or does the camping pass cover the car as well.
