Been busy since return from LM but wanted to get this started whilst i remembered.
Lots of people wanted shirts even at Le Mans, and people still want them now !!
A few of the regular's on the site used a perminant pen to change the date, others just wore the 2004 origional issues with pride.
Some thought a complete change from the design.
Any comments for or against are much appreciatted.
Robbo .

Robbo, I voted for a new front design. I still love the classic version but I think we need a more modern design. Maybe Gulf colours as on the cars in the film or something else... If two versions were available I think I'd just have to have both... Oh lordy what'll SWMBO say to that then? bill

Whatever, for me.
Although I actually really like the current design and would buy it again with 2006, 2007, 2008 and so on (probably in increasing sizes each year).
It certainly makes fellow CAers quickly and easily recognisable...even if I can't remember their names, or the fact that I met them the previous night!!!

No opinion on the shirts as for design. I liked the previous ones, and regretted not ordering one any sooner for this year. Put my name down for next year, will definitely have one!

Very happy with the existing design, agree with smokie it makes seeing other CAers easy, if we need a change could you something with the polo shirt?
Whatever happens i will always have two of everything, so please accept this as my official order, Robbo. Keep up the good work. Peter

On a slightly different note, how about a mini version of the CA flag which could be flown from car radio aerial, caravan, trailer or whatever. Anyone else be interested??

I agree, the front remains a fine job and a good identifier when stumbling around before, during and after the Poo bar . Maybe something new on the back for 2006?

I think there needs to be a small change from year to year (not just the last numeric of the year) so that it's possible to see that you have that years shirt. I agree that the CA logo and stripes are classical and should remain ostensibly the same, perhaps soemthing could be done with the yearly logo? Having said all that it's very easy to keep the overall apearance VERY Club Arnage and have a different look. I also agree with Mr Ferrari Spider that I would prefer polo shirts. As long as they dont look like the ACO's t-shirts I'll be happy Gazza (Ballast)

Still love the front design, could it be tweeked by someone with artistic ability to give it a fresh look, but maintaining the original idea? Back could do with a complete change, what about the 'Le Mans 200*' logo from the front enlarged and put on the back?

The design is a classic and a trademark CA feature. But I personally think it would look good on pale blue tee, with orange and blue/black stripes, al la Gulf motorsport colours.
It probably wouldn't show the grime so easily either, though it would of course smell similar after a few days. Now who wouldn't want one of those?

Pale blue shirt I agree with but the stripes reflect the French flag and if it wasn't for the French none of us would be there. Maybe the www. bit on the back could be in red white and blue

I had thought of that Bob. On a pale blue tee, there would be no white stripe without changing the block pattern and adding an extra colour, which probably means more expense. Thus the rear logo should probably be in plain black.
