Do you want to buy the circuit?
« on: September 15, 2005, 04:27:52 pm »
You too could win £347,000,000 in the Spanish National lottery - "El Gordo".  Second prize is only £115mil, with £57mil for third.  It is £500 per ticket but you can buy a 20th for £25.

It seems to be run out of Holland - are you on a percentage Paddy?

I wish Lorry, I wish :)

If I would win the lottery I'd buy Maison Blanche and do it up a little :)

Its Pounds sterling (the real figures are US$ not euros!), and I've already made an offer for Maison Blanche

I'll install my own personal crapper 'n' shower block on MB...and engage the shytehouse family from the bottom of MB to keep it clean (they do quite a good job of it, they have years of experience...)

With that money, as well as running my own race team, I'd be buying up Karting Nord, so that our crew and the Brethren don't have to deal with the increasing encroachment by organised tours there.   Oh and installing permanent showers and bogs, a restaurant/bar, a permanent firework display area, sound system and projection screen so that Rusty doesn't have to load the white van up any more.

Sounds good to me Mark.
How about dedicated elevated viewing area trackside with bar and a bridge to Maison Blanche, and courtesy vehicles driven by Hawaiian Tropic girls to drop us at the Poo Bar?

Now you're talking my friend ;D.   With all that dosh, we'll probably need a helipad as well and a car parking area for the flunkies to drive the cars down for us.

I'd buy the Audi's and put them away. That way somebody else might win for a change.

I dare say that some were saying that about the Porsches from 1981 to 1987, but that era is regarded by a lot of people as the halycon days of Le mans. I do see your point though it would be nice to see a Pescarola or Racing for Holland win.
Just imagine the party on Maison Blanche on Sunday night if Racing for Holland did win, I reckon Paddy wouldn't make it back to Rotterdam for at least a week.

Dont worry Lorry, you have the same odds as the organisers misdialing and ringing one of the rest of us instead with the good news - we will of course honor your good intentions and split the rest with you, no problem.  I am particularly looking forward to the Hawian tropic girls driving us around!
