Some great atmospheric pic's matchlesspat, couldn’t make it this year, only the second we have missed, It has to be the best motorsport event ever, anywhere, real man and machine arse out racing and what a fantastic job Lord March and his staff do.
The most emotive was Barry Sheene's last race in 2003, a true hero, never to be forgotten and I am sure he wasn’t.
One of my best memories was standing behind the picket fencing of the race paddock with Nick Masons 250 GTO in front, a 330 to the left and a 275 to the right, warming up, the sound was just heaven!
Barry Williams in the Jag, Minis battling with Galaxy's, sixties F1..... but so relaxed and friendly, saw Ken Tyrell walking around with his wife in 2002, along with the rest of the punters, clearly just having a good time.
Does anybody know if the highlights will be shown on TV soon?
