JUST A QUICK UPDATE

I'll start with the disappointing news first! Any sort of overseas travel for at least the next six months is off.  Which effectively kyboshes any hope of doing Spa, 24hrs,Classic and a few other trips I'd hope to do.  The consultant looking after me cannot in good faith give me clearance for the necessary insurances.

Coupled with this the chemo has f**cked up the nerves in my legs below the knees, they are numb and my right foot feels like it has a big hole driven through it.  this makes walking FUN to say the least.

Energy levels are still low, but getting better, but in all honesty, a drive to wokingham is too far for me at present so won't be at the planning meeting.

The good news is that after the treatment it seems to be going to plan.

My buggered hard drive is still buggered and have manged to get an old works laptop working on the net.

so have a great time and I'll think of all you lucky so and so's having great fun in La sarthe.  FS

Hang on in there FS, missing Le Mans is a small price to pay for staying on the recovery road. It'll still be there next year, so make sure you are!

Sad news about not being able to make it this year Peter. It sounds like the long term prospects are good though.
Keep your chin up mate, we will all be thinking of you

Best wishes
