I would have to say my favorite would be the Whistler Cougars.
Does anyone else have a favorite Roush car?

I'm with you Randy, the 1990 red Whistler Cougars were nice, Robby Gordon and Dorsey Schroeder if memory serves me right, also liked the mid-eightes Scott Pruett, Tom Gloy Mustangs and XR4's.  I remember whenever Roush needed a ringer they'd ask Klaus Ludwig to pull double duty and race both the GTP Probe and a GTO car.

My personal God, Superswede was one of the finest drivers of the Munich flame throwers, sadly only made one Sebring start in the 312PB in '72.  Usually a GP conflict with Sebring but drove them many times at Daytona and The Glen.  I think he may have been busy winning the South African GP over Sebring weekend in 1978.  His long time co-driver David Hobbs once told me co-driving with Ronnie could be maddening because he said he would spend lap after lap in the car in qualifying, getting down to a really fast lap, put one in thinking he'd put in the perfect lap and was really going like a bat out of hell, come in and hand the car over to Ronnie and within two laps Ronnie would go a second a lap faster!  Hobbs has a big smile on when he was telling me this.

Your a man of taste there Lorry, Can-Am was my first love.  Not going to boast BUT...I saw Mark Donohue and the Penske Porsche 917/30 race in person, never a more sublime combination of driver & car.  The first two racing cars I ever saw at speed were the factory McLaren M8F's of Denny Hulme and Peter Revson, doesn't get any better than that.
The race to the clouds is special too, for years the stomping ground of the Unser family, during the eighties the WRC teams brought some Group B rockets over to claim the hardware and greats like Walter Rohrl, Michele Mouton, Ari Vatanen, etc. graced the Rockies.

I have some recent photos of an M8 somewhere.  Can't find the black & white pictures of the 8F and the Howmet.  I bought a negative scanner today, as you can never have too many photo of Brands Hatch

Strangely, "California Dreamin'" has just come up on Media Player.  It was a dream in those days but reality for '07, and I'm still tempted to pull the plug next week for Sebring.
