I went during my study period for my degree, GCSE's on Monday are no excuse.

What exam is it?

Cram / revise like mad the week before then tell them you need a little Rest and Recuperation in Le Mans to revilatise your brain.

You don't win Le Mans - you outlast it.

Revitalise the brain ? That's expressed very nicely.  Grin

Pic won't work, its of someone drinking 5 pints of Stella, fountain style.
I might be able to get to the MotoGP race at Donington though. Are any of you going to be there?

Moto GP at Donnington is unfortunatley the same weekend as the Le Mans Classic.
Enjoy the howling 4 strokes if you can't make the Classic.

Hi Robbo
Due to the renewed intrest and crowds at Moto GP, unless you like sitting in traffic jams on the way out, suggest you take the bike. Although it must be about 400 miles return from Pompey, which makes it a long day unless you have a very comfortable bike. Our return trip is 250 miles and I get home knackered, although my bikes not designed for touring, I'm getting old and we don't use any motorways. Van with bikes in the back for the last 20 miles prehaps?
Beware the A5 around Northampton, on bike race days the police make Himmler look like your favorite auntie.

I have a CBR600 FX and  my mate would be a pillion, so its a VERY long day on a bike ! You can always wait at the circuit for the crowds to go.

That's what we do, a load of people bug out straight after the GP, but we always stay for the last race, last year of the 2 strokes we had the pleasure of watching a certain Barry Sheene racing a Manx with number 7 on the side. Brought back fond memories of Good Fridays at Brands watching the Trans Atlantic races in the mid/late 70's when the big US names used to come over and race the best that GB had to offer.

Hey Robbo shouldn't be too bad on a CBR 600. I stupidly made the mistake of going for a bit of blast on the back of my mates R6 when I had dropped my bike of for a service.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!! How they can call that a seat or even pad is beyone me!! No wonder the misses didnt want me to get one.
