This pretty well sums it up.
I posted it another thread but it really deserves its own.

You're right Fax - it's a good sum-up.
That said, if this dude is a senior writer for Racer Magazine, he needs to understand the difference between well-heeled and well-healed - and realise that Le Mans is in June not July. Senior write, my arse!
See ya Friday John!
If it\'s good and fast, it won\'t be cheap. If it\'s fast and cheap, it won\'t be good. If it\'s good and cheap, it won\'t be fast.

You'll have to cut him some slack for his appearance, spelling, and date checking...he's from Michigan ;D
But he very well summed up why we love going to a abandoned bomber base in the middle of nowhere in Florida.  He's not kidding either when he described rural, south central Florida as the Twilight Zone.

  • You don't win Le Mans - you outlast it.

Oh sh*t folks, this guy doesn't seem to be too bad (except for being from Michigan, maybe  ;D ). Sebring since 1970s, just one miss due to being in hospital seriously ill and reporting about the event... seems to be someone I could talk to at the shampoo bar.
I don't care - I'm a racing driver and I'm here to win, not to finish third.
