To bring the thread back on topic  ;D   if you want to buy a cheap tent have a look at http://www.e-awnings.co.uk/ and search for Coleman bi-space, they've got the 300 for £30 which is a giveaway.

Coleman make great tents and this would last the course even at the wettest Le Mans (and yes I always plan for the worst weather and everything else is a bonus  ;D

Agreed, Coleman make great camping gear.  As do Gelert, got a great bagin last year with a vario lokon 4.  Approx 6 x 3 x 2 metres, £140 through ebay, but lots of other web hits out there.  Could have had a disco inside.  Just as a suggestion if anyone is needing a tent.

Thanks for the tip Piglet! That's a great tent for the money. Is anyone else interested in one (that won't nede it until Le Mans) as I am going to order one  for myself and P&P on one is £7.50 but if you order two P&P is free!!

No problem JPC, it looks like a great deal, I was tempted myself until I looked at the other five tents in the garage and decided perhaps I didn't need yet another one!!

Shhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!  Mrs JP may see your post and discover the three I already have in the garage!

I quite like the idea of a tent that I can walk into though (albeit crouched) and if the bad weather that we are due one year soon does turn up, then at least you aren't walking into your sleeping area straight from outside so hopefully your airbed/sleeping bag won't get drenched!

Perhaps a gazebo from B&Q for £12 would help

Looks like there isn't a great deal of privacy in that, Piglet.  Which site are you on??

Your right Mark, having a decent amount of headroom makes allthe difference, Brad and I's is actually ment to be a 5 (small) man tent, but with the 2 of us its ideal and the porch area is great for storage and wet gear.
