Well 17 is the newer bit of ACO tribune to the left (if you are in the ACO and facing the pits), and 1L I presume is seat 1 in row L.

Looking at the grandstand map and the pit allocations above I guess you'll be approximately opposite the Joest Audi.
Ta for that - guess Fran won't be far away then!  Usually get the 'vettes which is like watching the greatest choreographers at work.  Pretty much the same at Audi, I guess...

The tribune ticket markings are in the order esc rang place so 1 L 17 would mean take set of stairs no.1  row L Seat no. 17.

Mmmm... on reflection I think you're right JPC, I forgot about the 'escalier' bit. Sorry termietermite.

I must have another look at my tickets again. Maybe we're not opposite Chamberlain afer all.

From memory, it's only the last two numbers that tell you anything about the seat.  The letters just help you get there.  Guess I'll just have to dig out last years' tickets or wait until Sunday to check it out for sure.  (how far away it seems!)

Highest numbered seats (200 etc) opposite hightest numbered pits - looks like Astons and RML for us.
