I don't seem to be able to find this section, so I thought I could start it here.

Last year I posted that I was mad enough to make the great trip to the Great Race in an Alpha 155, and (not surprisingly perhaps) the thought was met by a number of posts advising me on breakdown cover and insurance etc. I hoped at that time to hear from a number of like minded owners, who too were brave to risk it and take there Italian monsters down. (Even if is was just to swap parts) Sadly it seemed I was alone.

Well no longer, already it would seem that there could be Alpha's littered liberaly on the road side all the way down.

So to all you other Alpha owners, good luck, happy motoring and I'll see you there.

(I think I might leave now, just to be on the safe side.) monkey

I thought about taking the wife's Alfa 147 but as I want something a bit more reliable I'm taking the 1969 Commer van. Tongue

Sod the Alphas and other exotica. For the sixth year running I will be taking my Espace with 310,000 miles on the clock.
Apart from a broken driveshaft in 2000,it has got us back and forth without any any problems.
Somebody has to carry our camping gear after all!!!!.
So anybody who is on Beausejour this year and spots the Shed Crews ,red espace is welcome to join us for a drink or 2 or 3 or 4.

See yoiu all there. Grin Grin Grin

Nice to see you have ventured on to the new discussion board wishywashyman - great handle too...

Perhaps a photo of the famed 'Shed' to accompany your next posting - maybe I can help Grin Grin

See you on Sunday for the pre-trip get together.
