Well that was a good show!  The rain managed to hold off, tho the route was a bit damp n puddled in places.  I stayed right away from the chinese finger trap and watched on the corner of Lloyd St/Deansgate where the drivers stopped and did burn ups along the long straight, a good few fishtailing as they hit the potholes n puddles!!

And the noise bouncing between the buildings... ouchy!

Team NED wasnt there, but GBR was giving it loads for the home crowds!

Team USA car was there for photo ops (I didnt dare try it in case I got my a*se stuck in the seat) but they didnt do the laps.

Rounded it off with a nice drink in the "beach bar" in Albert Square.  If it wasnt for the drizzle blowing off the fountain and the cloud of black smoke drifting across from Salford I could have amost been in Jamaica!!   ::)

P.S.  Kept a look out for you Muzorewa, but didnt see anyone who looked familiar.

We stayed by the start near Boots. Wasn't what I expected but enjoyed it all the same.  Managed to get Robbie Kerr's autograph as well. Like you say, noise pretty impressive!
