Hiya

10/10 to Fagey for getting this off the ground - hope to see lots of you in January.

Please please do ask about hotels (I would ask me, 'cos I'm a girl) before you book, even if it is part of a package. There are some to avoid -  like those that still have shared bathrooms and those showers that are just hoses that fit on the taps  :o :o I kid you not.

So ask away and then we have something to look forward to after Christmas, amongst other things I suppose.

BTW I will not be coerced into talking about anything to do with avoidence or anything else to do with offshore funds........... ;D the days of clients bringing their money over in suitcases is over....allegedly.

Lisa

PS

Fagey - sorry I missed you at the Rugby Club on Saturday - looked like you had a good win. I was poorly sick after cycling home in that thunder storm the other night. :'( There was not a drop of TLC to be had in the house so I just watched the golf and got excited each time Everton were winning.....I then od'd on Lemsips ;D I'll be there next home game.

Not being a footy or a golf fan, do these really belong in the same sentence??  ???

Just going to start making my bookings for this.  Anybody else settled on a hotel yet?  As mentioned before, I am foot passengering across so if anybody has a spare seat in a car coming from La France and would like a contribution to ticket costs, please let me know. Will be arriving by train at St Malo.

I rather fancy going to this, but will no doubt faddle about until around 15 January 2007 before making any kind of decision.   ::)

Its been a long time since I was out in the islands.

Anybody else who's been having trouble booking Condor Ferries for next year may like to know that they are finally taking 2007 bookings.

Not online they're not Mrs T, at least only up until January. I've my eyes, and potatoes, peeled for a Pompey/Cherbourg when and if they start taking bookings.
