Absolutely brilliant! Really captures the atmosphere in '63. Do they still hold Mass on a Sunday morning? I've never seen it (but then Sunday mornings are usually a blur). Did the commentator say that the BRM did the whole 24hrs without a change of tures?

The mass still happens, They use the concert stage now.

There is, our at least was, also a a little wooden hut on the outside of the track in in the area were the funfair was with a religios shrine in.

The pathe archive is a treasure trove of stuff. Just search random words connected to Motorsport and all sorts of stuff pops up.

Senna never drove at Le Mans but Roland did. Here is a fitting tribute to the less famous driver who lost his life that terrible weekend 20 years ago.
