Peter, did you actually search "cooking with dog" on you tube? If you did you either have a fascination with canine based food items or you are thinking of giving your pet pooch a few lessons in the culinary arts!  Very strange and I wonder if the things we look for on you tube give an insight into our personalities.

Right, lets have a look for naked camshaft installation. (Somebody on here is bound to have a look!)

Hi Guys - long time no post!

No doubt this video has been analysed to death, but I came across it this afternoon, and am a bit puzzuled.

http://vimeo.com/1445019

Termietermite (aka old peg-leg next door) suggested there would be a wealth of explanation for me on here. To my mind this ain't Can Am, but an earlier USRRC. There is mention - I think - of Walt Hansgen. Now as everyone on CA knows, he received fatal injuries at the LM Test Days 2.4.1966, dying 5 days later in Orleans hospital. Can Am didn't start until later that year. So perhaps this was the 1965 USRRC. Except that Walt Hansgen didn't start that race, although he was entered.

Confident that someone will unravel this for me soonest!

Did I spot a Lotus 30?  My memory is fading, but I loved the Lola T70, early McLarens and the Chaparrel  II, and there's even a Porsche 904

According to the distributors its the 1965 Riverside Grand Prix.  And didn't Surtees win the first year of Can Am in 1966, and there's no sign of him.  The DVD is available, and they have several from that era, including Le Mans 1967, which you can find on ebay in English format

Yup, Times Grand Prix at Riverside '65 makes much more sense than CanAm. My problem is that this site
http://www.wspr-racing.com/wspr/results/usrrc/usrrc1965.html seems to have a rather different cast list - where are those Lola T70s? Didn't that Lotus 30 #1 look like a works car? Where is it in this list? Even more confudlingly - as far as that website is concerned - is that in Pro Sportscar Racing in America 1958-74, a fine book recommended by Fax of this parish, there are a couple of pics of the 1965 Times GP, and they include the Ford GTX, said to have finished 5th, which appears in the film, but not on that list.

Perhaps I need to get the video and soak it all in!
