For Lemans 07 I went to the town on Friday for the parade as usual but I ended up on a small street with my dad and the guys I go with………… the parade was over and we where watching the sports in a sports bar while having a few beers ( and banana Vodka ) Sad the mixing of the drinks and no food meant on the trip to get some food I was violently ill then passed out. I awoke the next day at my parents ( not far from Lemans ) at around 230ish on Saturday – my dad had gone the race and I had no way of getting there Sad ended up watching most of it on the tele!!

I will never do that again as I cant believe I was so close yet so far. My own fault tho

What can I say? In 2005 I cannot remember coming back from Team JPC's cocktail eve, and apparently I needed help to unzip the tent to get in. But then again I was at Maison Blanche, so it was 'business as usual' the next morning.
Or early afternoon, rather... Roll Eyes

Oh well, we live and learn. Or not, and do it again and again Wink

Best part of the story is, his tent was 10 meters away from the cocktailbar, and he was damn sure he fell into a ditch along the way. Grin

We checked three times already, but there's no ditch to be found anywhere around, so I wonder what route he took to get to his tent...  Tongue

Me leaving the truck in second gear so the truck wouldn't start on Monday morning in '06, that was plain stupid.

In 2005 I lost my wallet with all of my bank cards in it.

I didn't know where I lost it, only realised when I wanted to get some booze at Boulogne..

Cancelled all the cards, but the wallet had my driving licence and docs for the car in it.

A week later at work I got call passed to my desk at work from the receptionist who said "There's a guy from Wormwood Scrubs prison on the phone for you".

I thought it was a joke but took the call anyway, to find out that he had found the wallet on the Sunday night by the shower blocks on TR and called me based on the business card inside.

Never did get the chance to meet up and thank him.
