Drool drool- wish I'd gone down now. That is THE car I would pick if I could have any car in the world. Simply stunning.
 Cheers Dave!

Dr S  Saw and took a pic of a Giulia SS that I thought would have liked.  Dont suppose either of us can have the Aston - must be worth lots and lots ????

Getting the MG ready for the forthcoming Alpine and Italian tour in a couple of weeks, assuming that it doesn't honk down with rain alll weekend  ::)  Nice route planned so far, taking in some of the classic Alpine passes including the Grand St Bernard, Simplon, Klausen and Stelvio in the Alps, the Futa and Raticosa from the Millle Miglia route, and calling by the Lamborghini and Ferrari factories along the way.

Friends round for BBQ tonight; pack for Spa tomorrow; lunch - ie all day - with French friends on Sunday.  Life's a b*tch.... (Oh, and ALMS on telly).

Plans for this weekend? Buy a punt so I can get to my local pub. Save the local wildlife from a watery grave. White water rafting in the local park. Open water diving in my back garden. Alternatively, I will sit on my sofa with a cold beer cos it never stops feckin raining :(

This weekend, I will start building my ark.
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical problem.

I live on top of a great big hill.

I think I have a few days on most people!

This is my first free weekend at home since the end of April!  So I will mostly be relaxing and doing s*d all.

We are forecast sunshine on Saturday afternoon in Manchester (depending on which website I look at), so might go for a bike ride and Saturday evening going to a Bollywood dance "thingy" in the local park (entrance fee £1 so I am expecting quality entertainment) by which time it will no doubt be lashing down again.   ::)

Tonight - leave work at 6, over to Sainsbury's for the weekly shop, call at The Khyber for a takeaway on the way home, call at the Co-Op for a good supply of Stella. Wave goodbye to Mrs Lord Steve for the night. eat curry, drink beer, watch Motors TV.
Bliss!
Saturday - trying to control flatulence to levels acceptable to Mrs Lord Steve.
Sunday - work on the car in the garage.
Happy days
I tested negative for patience.
