Cool! That means getting up earlier then usual on the Saturday, only to avoid getting blasted out of the sleeping bag by the Mazda 757 ;D 8)

The Mazda on Sunday at Silverstone was awesome, much louder than everything else and belching a lot more flame too.
If I was you, I wouldn't start from here

Excellent.

Just another good reason to attend next year (as if I needed one).

Le Mans is for the week......not just 24hrs!

Yes, I also hope the Mazda will be on the grid. Saw it winning in 91 and will never forget the sound ;D

Gary,

Much like this then taken at Silverstone on the Sunday;

At my age, it takes me all night to do what I used to do all night!!!!!!!!!!!
Then, growing old is compulsary, but growing up is just optional.

I don't do GREEN, I've got a 4x4

Thanks Gary, it was taken from the pitwall on Sundays warmup.

It would have looked better at night though. The original Panoz at LM was spectacular. I have a photo somewhere when I used to use a 35mm.  If I can find it I'll scan it for you.

Excellent news - remember watching them a few years ago, and now that their series has been running for a few years, the grid should be even better.

Now, we just need to get a few of them lined up on the Saturday afternoon too.... Audi R10, Peugeot 908 etc versus Porsche 917, 956 and 962, Maxda etc.... Now that would be interesting.. ;D

Group C cars will be in action at the VSCC See Red bash at Donnington in September. 15 races including pre 61 F1 cars, unfortunately its the same weekend as Silverstone LMS (why don't organisers work together to avoid clashes instead of moaning about falling gate figures? Remember LM Classic and Goodwood last year!)
