Just heard on the Radio5, Tata (indian co) are looking to buy Jag & Landie.

Tata had brought British Steel Corus,so they access to plenty of steel.

The only thing worries me is, I can remember the Tata cars of the past.

Not sure who else is in the frame to buy them

There's still quite a number of these old girls earning their keep on the tea plantations of India and Malaysia.
I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

Well at least they've build long lasting cars in the past.....

This film should be played at high volume, so don't come complaining about it! And who the hell is Steve?

The problem is I remember the cars in the late 90's,

As for a company, all I know is they are huge, a finger in many pies, which is good for financial support/strength.

In fact I bet everyone has brought and used one of their products, as one of the companies they own is Tetley tea.

Time will tell, but I hope if they do buy them, they see its the right market and have the cash to get them back into motor racing (Le Mans 2009?)

I guess I'm not bothered who buys em as long as they still make them to go nice and rusty- rustier the better for me!
