Le Mans - the how you get there is not quite as important as being there.

What Ade, you're telling me that my link isn't English? - I admit it's slightly odd English, but...

Well, one story originates from French, and the other one has been written by a Dutch person.
Still foreign ;D

No, of course not, all I was doing was linking to an English translation of the 1st paragraph of this.

"Are delighted to announce"
Don't look to excited Henri whatever you do people might get the wrong impression.
"The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It's nothing of the kind. The game is about glory. It's about doing things in style, with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom."

I could be completely wrong, but Henri's facial expression looks to me he's had a stroke some time ago :-\

He's had that crooked face for years, looks like his rightside is still completely paralised. But at least he could have smiled with is left side, don't you think ;D
I have given up on being on facebook and myspace, I kept mixing them up and invited people to come on Myface!

My understanding is that Henri's gloomy facial expression is due to the burns he suffered in his accident.
Don't know if that's just because he's still p*ssed of about it or what...

It almost looks like bells palsy, but whatever the reasons, henri's got a face that could only belong to a hard done by frenchman. It suits him perfectly, it's as if you can see him shrugging in the photo.
