CA car Sticker without year.
« on: February 15, 2008, 05:49:32 pm »
I know we already have the yearly sticker, but is there enough interest for one that goes inside the car facing out. Maybe they could be like your tax disc holder (or maybe even be a tax disc holder?) and not be sticky but rely on a lick!

Another thought, maybe a Club Arnage 'GB 'or 'NL' plate that could go in the rear window.

I thought that maybe it would not feature a year but just the Club Arnage Logo. This could then stay on year round.
Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better.

Nice idea.

I would have thought that a universal variety would be the best bet.

Not tied to any particular year or country.

A simple sticker is going to be cheaper compared to the tax disc holder. Also, do other countries (NL) use tax discs like we do?

I would certainly go for a sticker.

Tax is much easier in the Netherlands. For the tax office

Buy a new car and you pay 30% tax and on top 19% vat
Own / Register a car in your name and pay for the "road tax ". ( if you use it or not )
Fill it up at the petrol station and 60% is tax / vat.

Easy isnt it ??

We've been round this loop before (a few times!!).

I've still got this one on my car

I'll find out the costs for a vinyl sticker with the logo on it next time I'm at the printer.

That would be good, with just a small logo at one end. Just the club details and no 'catch phrase'.

Been to see the printer to put the first T-shirt order in, and got a price for these.

Could do something like this, say 3" by 4", on vinyl for £1.50 including postage.

Edit:  Price modified when I found my maths in error
