What I meant was..... We had another South Coast Meet on the Thursday before the Emsworth meet.
Our usual Haunt in Milford was hosting a charity "eat as much as you can" night in aid of the Oakhaven Hospice so we thought it would be rude to not help them get rid of all the lovely dishes served.
The usual crew attended, being Ferrari Spyder and Mrs FS, Rhino and Mrs Rhino, Myself and Lady PP, my mates Sid and Jim and we had a guest appearance from Miss Vicky Melans and Stuart.

The food was superb and belly skin was tight after a marathon scoff. This was all washed down with a few cheeky ones over the road in The Leaping Donkey.

I dragged Vern out for a meal and a few pints, so my liver is pickled as I was in the Blue Bell for lunch as well!!!!!!!!!!!!

And a very good evening it was, the food was as usual, excellent as was the company.
You really need to enroll Sid and Jim into coming to LM though, they'd love it.

They are both ideal candidates but.... Sid has a habit of being a bit greedy with the grog too early and then dissappearing in a stupor.. and Jim has a history of intolerance with our foreign friends when pissed... would be ok for a weekend but too much of a worry for a week. I have enough trouble looking after myself, without 2 liabilities to keep an eye over!!

Dont think either would be brave enough... they like to hear the stories but both have said they couldnt handle it... unlike us seasoned veterans!

Also think they are a bit scared of The Brethren!

Being an Ossemsley resident I am more than happy to hear our nearest big town slated... Nice during the day and early evening but any later than that.... I would rather be at home out in the woods! With my chickens

Speaking of Typos, I've lived in Cockermouth, and Trashford, currently in Scaberdeenshire.

All fondly mis spelt. Apart from Cockermouth.
