Arnage train station
« on: May 29, 2008, 04:55:25 pm »
Hi guys,

A mate of mine is going gay and not getting to Le mans this year untill the Friday, something to do with a romantic visit to Paris. Anyway the plan was to hop on a train in Paris and hop off at Arnage, by the railway crossing, where I will have a small beverage awaiting courtesy of the Orient Express.

The problem: How the hell do you get from Paris to the Orient express?

If you guys don't know then no one will. Mind you it will save me the cost of a pint!

Cheers

Trains run from Paris Montparnasse to Le Mans - the fast TGV ones. You should change at Le Mans onto the slow little train that runs from Le Mans to Tours. If I remember correctly Arnarge is the 1st stop, mand it runs about every hour. (there's also plenty of buses from le Mans bus station through to Arnarge)

For timetables etc stick SNCF into your search engine, and helpfully the timetables are available in english

It takes a real man to admit his attraction to a 45+ year old balding male with bad breath - I am not a real man!

See you Friday - have a cold one ready at the railway bar at Arnarge for me

Either you didn't meet him at the station or he's hiding due to embarrasment.
At my age, it takes me all night to do what I used to do all night!!!!!!!!!!!
Then, growing old is compulsary, but growing up is just optional.

I don't do GREEN, I've got a 4x4
