ok so i am one of the sad gits who enjoys and does detailing It looks like it. Having said that I did spend 2 hours cleaning the alloys on Saturday, but only because the front ones were black,(and the back ones silver) On the basis that it was going to rain, there was no point in washing the rest of it (that one works most days). My son has had his car nine months, and its still in showroom condition - well, it hasn't been touched since it left the showroom. I have a cunning plan. It's called swapping the front wheels for the back ones

Enough of all this rubbish! When we left LM on Monday, the Cav was covered in marker pen, pink spray, ash, soot and possibly urine. We travelled to Dinard in the "Colours" and parked up outside my fave hotel. By morning it was totally plastered in seagull droppings. Fantastic! I removed the marker pen at services between St Malo and Le Havre... as some was a little rude Nail varnish remover seemed to work wonders, especially for the paint. She has not been washed yet as its not September. Cavvy loved LM... never has she had so much attention by drunken men. Also, she has never had 2 oil changes in 1000 miles, as i split the sump on my drive after unloading all the kit... on the way to the pub. Gutted! Thank god for ramps, hammers, welders and seam sealer! Oil Tight! I have removed some of the stickers but the glue has remained on her..... keeps the flies of Lady PP!

Mk III Vauxhall Ashtray. In white, the exact colour of 1980's stiletto-heel shoes. It's quite a nice one as such things go. I had a red 1.4L as a company car in 1992. It was hateful, a crummy built-down-to-a-price heapa sh*te. But it was a bit better than a Mk 4 Escort which must win the prize for the most cynical piss taking "let's see what we can get away with" shoddy crap car. Regrettably, for some unknown reason, it's oil vanished one day on the M25 and the engine siezed... hello Rover 216

I believe you are sick. Perhaps a lay down will help. Washing/polishing & buffing is for cars older than you. Not new crap.

Yes, had one of those as a company car - 1300cc 2 door. I made the mistake of fitting a tow bar to it and trying to tow a smallish trailer carrying a big iron V8. It was okay down hills anyway
