You mean like "Vot ist your name?"  :)

Chris Z speaks it fluently, he learnt it all in A levels but mainly from watching filthy German porn.

"Schticken ze grossus pimmel up minen heissus schwangen! Uh das ist musch besser!" is a favourite saying of his.

Sorry Werner etc for massacring das grammar unt spelling!
I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

Est informs me that she's almost fluent, but if its as good as her Danish then we'll be in trouble!

Hayley has purchased a phrase book  ;D

No sorry Chris won't be there due to his taking exams to become a science teacher  :o but he's promised to let me take his selection of amusing teeshirts to LM, so you should be okay for the I'm a C*** time of night! He's been teaching sex education recently, remind me to tell you about what the kids in Redhill think about the uses of cling film as a contraceptive!  :o

I guess if we get stuck at N'ring we can phone him and he'll tell us what to say, I'm absolutely convinced he won't stich us up with something filthy when we're speaking to the nice man from the Politzei!  ;)

I'll wear the C t-shirt but will you wear my dress?  :)

If you completely wrap your partner in clingfilm then there's no way you'd get pregnant.... the kids aren't so silly after all  8)

Are you a hidden user Mr Z??!!  ;D

I'm almost sorry I'm going to a festival guys!
If I stay sober there, it's a 3 hour drive during the night from there to Nürburg......

Tempting!

This film should be played at high volume, so don't come complaining about it! And who the hell is Steve?

Well, I know some parts of my home town where this vocabulary would guarantee you a bloody good night - but not at the Nürburgring. I'll probably be able to help you out with german language on site - I have loose plans to go there ...

I missed the race last year so that the 24hs of the 'Ring are on my to-do list for this year, too (as part of the big three - 'Ring, LeMans and Spa 24hs).

http://adac.24h-rennen.de/en.html is the official site - they do speak English.
I don't care - I'm a racing driver and I'm here to win, not to finish third.

Just a word on campsite etiquette, be careful which flag you fly on a campsite full of Germans  :-[

That won't be problem, you guys fly the englisch flag and I will fly the Dutch, so we get all the trouble. Might even wear a t-shirt saying:

Mein Fahrad zuruck!!

Or:

Wieder gutmach schnitzel, nur 19.45 euro! ;D
I have given up on being on facebook and myspace, I kept mixing them up and invited people to come on Myface!

I know it's odd and totally untypical for a good CA thread to jump back on topic but I'll try now. Although (or because) I live close by I have no experience with the campsites at the Nring, I never stayed a night out there. I've seen that the campsite map on the website lists 6 temporary campsites. Does anyone (Dobbo?) have a recommendation which of these campsite-bogs-bar places is the best one and could become a CA meeting place?
