What's happened to the DBR9
« on: April 30, 2009, 10:54:55 am »
Is the DBR9 considered old hat now? I knew a long time a go the factory team stepped up to LMP1 but what about the customer cars?
I've just been looking at the entry list for the GT's this weekend & the only entry is in GT2  :'(

There's 1 DBR9 left in the small GT1 class after Gigawave dropped out and the Aston you mention in GT2 is a Vantage V8.

The ACO updated their entrants list yesterday.

GT1 is very disappointing. No Saleen, only on the reserve list :'( . 2 Lambo's though  ;D
There is a corner of a foreign field that will be forever England ------ Houx Annexe

And the bastards have built on it.

Saleen is the nearest thing to a Mclaren F1 I'll see this year  ;)

#5 on the list, so unless a few teams drop out I doubt we will see a Saleen this year.
IMHO the only chance it has is if some of the American entries don't come over, if the present news hype proves to be accurate, and the situation is not very good.
