hi all

One of my party has pulled out, so I have a Team Langoustine/CA-supplied Bleu Nord camping pass, two general admission tickets and two Dunlop stand tickets for sale at cost price. I paid €1.03/£ so the total (excl postage) would come to £335.

I have Sommer and la Sarthe (aka Maison Blanche) grandstands too, so may be able to offer them if the Dunlop stand isn't your choice.

cheers
Ewan

hi - the Sommer grandstand is on the main straight, doesn't have any facilities itself (none of them do) but it's within striking distance of the various bars & food joints along the back of the grandstands.

Price of the tickets but substituting Sommer instead of Dunlop stands, would be £345 (since Sommer is a bit more expensive - RRP for Dunlop is €82 per seat, Sommer is €87). Total cost to me of the entry & Sommer grandstand tickets would work out to €288, and I paid £65 for the camping, hence £345 for the lot.

Grandstand map and ticket prices are on http://www.lemans.org/sport/sport/calendrier/pdf/2009/24h09_gb.pdf

Although I've seen you've asked this question on multiple threads I'll only answer here.

Only the grandstands reserved for ACO members (T17 & T18) have facilities, the other grandstands donot have a bar/restaurant/toilets iirc.
One exception could be T34 (there used to be a restaurant there).

But frankly who cares a beer, sandwich or fries are never more than 5 mins away and you can always bring your own.

As Bas has already said, only the ACO stand has a bar, the Sebring Bar in T34 vanished years ago, but there used to be a self service restaurant in the back of T34 somewhere.
The attached plan of grandstands (tribunes) may help you locate them.

Hi Ewan

I am looking for 1x BN camping and would happily take the 2 x admission as well if this is of interest and/or you can sell the grandstand tickets separately?

Just though I'd ask...

Notwithstanding being 'reasonably' old timer (15 years less a couple in between) I have left it a bit last minute this time...!

Cheers

I'd rather sell the whole lot together, but if there any takers for the Grandstand seats alone, then I'd be happy to split the batch and pass the others to Andrew.

Anyone?

[Edit - change of plan; the Dunlop seats are gone, it's now La Sarthe stand that we have]
OK, the Grandstand seats are for La Sarthe (aka Maison Blanche) - Esc 5. Rang E Place 121-122
Camping pass is Rang C 24 Place 76 on Bleu Nord.

Cost to me was:
* 1x Camping - £65
* GA - 2x Group rate @€57 - £111
* Stand - 2x face value €96 - £186

Total - £362 + P&P (or collection)

Roll up, roll up Smiley

Bump. I put these on Ebay with the auction ending Sunday morning, in case there's no further interest on here... until then, I'm still happy to shift them at cost (whereas I've seen BN camping alone on eBay go for >£100 in the last couple of weeks).

Tix in La Sarthe grandstand a few rows back from the front, at the end nearest the start/finish straight - should provide a good view along the straight as well as the pit entrace & the Ford chicane.

cheers
