Although this will be my 12th time to Le Mans, I have never been to the Drivers Parade on the Friday night.

Is it worth a visit? Where is the best place to stand and what time do we need to be there to get a decent view? I assume we can get the tram.

Thanks in advance,

Tony

Yes it's fun, just get there in time, also going early will make you avoid the very very very busy trams on Friday 3 to 5 pm.

It's my 14th trip and, like you, I've never been to the parade. I'm a complete free agent this year without the "What do you wanna do tonight"? "I don't know, what do you wanna do" palaver. For me it's a must-do so might see you there although I want to fit in the event in Mulsanne on the afternoon as well. Makes a complete change from the lunacy between Maison Blanche and Bleu. I must be getting old!!

Steve,

As you are on houx you are only a short walk from the tram, which is handy as the trek to the bus stop by the cemetry was not good with a bad head.  We'll be going into town Friday and normally end up in the vicinity of the parade where we bump into Rusty and the Breth, then its Irish bar, then its........ you know the rest !

Le Mans - the how you get there is not quite as important as being there.

This will be the 13th time at the 24hrs and haven't seen te parade yet ... I've got a newbie with me this year, he wants to see as much as possible, so we'll try to make it to the parade.  We're even planning to leave already on Monday to watch the scrutineering of the Astons.
