Logged onto www.Silverstone and then saw the costs.

Was hoping for Fri-Sun, but at £79.00 it's a no-go, the Sat-Sun at £70.00 is stretching it. Both advanced bookings.

Silverstone has been a rip-off for the GP for years and it seems to be spreading down to the lower eschelons.

I hope I'm there camping on the farm opposite the entrance but can't promise anything.

I've missed LM this year, now possibly the classic, after 10+ years of continued attendance. I am not happy >:(

At my age, it takes me all night to do what I used to do all night!!!!!!!!!!!
Then, growing old is compulsary, but growing up is just optional.

I don't do GREEN, I've got a 4x4

If anyone has a pre-1989 classic then the RetroRun is a bargain at £99, you get the run, infield parking and parade laps of the circuit, but best of all you get two  three day entry tickets!  I've done it a few times, it's good fun, and a great way of getting 2 tickets cheaply! See http://www.silverstoneclassic.com/userfiles/RetroRun%20Information.pdf
Of course I buy green cars, my Aston is green, my MGB is green, my Disco Sport is green,  oh, that's not what you meant by green?

Yup, we've got all three of ours on that (280, Quattro & TR6) and we're starting from The Aston Martin factory on the retro-run Saturday morning.

Kids can't wait to get on to the circuit. ;D

Got an e-mail this morning from the bods organising the retro run.
The £99 now includes tickets to Blue/Pussy Cat Dolls on Friday night and Santana on Saturday night.....Result ;D
