Russ and I for sure and probably Wooly too. Its a simple journey from Russ's pad and means we can beat the 1pm deadline by a few hours.

Although I'd like to drive it just doesn't add up for me. Total journey would be about 7 hours compared to 5 by plane and it's cheaper than a eurotunnel crossing.

Southampton to Amsterdam with Flybe. £75. Departs 06:50 friday morning returns 14:45 sunday (or you can come back about 20:00 I think)

Hmmm, that might be a plan. I think the 20:00 might be the more sensible option!

How long does the train take from Amsterdam to Rotterdam?
