you'll have a great time, early to bed, early to rise, and to be able party with like-minded endurance race petrol heads.  Here is a picture of a group on a recent trip.

I was doing a drive down mulsanne and all the way down to the porche curves early friday morning this year. As a couple of my mates wanted to do the same we tried again at app. 10.30 and they was just closing the road from Mulsanne to Porche.  police We was allowed to walk all the way but no cars.
It is a realy nice thing to try, suddenly you realise just how long the mulsanne straight is, and just how tight some of the corners is. (it is not so fun i a minibus like oures).

Looks forward to do the same trip this year,

not sure if this was closing the road ready for the race or what has been happening recently shutting off bits of the 'circuit' because of the 'mad friday' antics.

An excellent alternative is going to the Great British Welcome at Saint Saturnin, just north of LM itself.  Check out the web site.  http://www.classicbw.org/index.php

The Great British Welcome is on my list of must do's, if not 2010 then 2011, it depends on the timings of the aforementioned offerings really. I understand that the package tour of the circuit and pits is officially sanctioned so hopefully will give me a bit more than the usual walkabout and nosey. The things we'll do for an Audi baseball cap!  Roll Eyes

I think you'll find that Phil and the SPS crew had nothing to do with the Pork Roast on Bleu Nord on Sunday but it was in fact Robbo from Wokingham and his group??

Although we at Team JPC were very grateful of the SPS Crew for the petrol on Sunday, and still have the 5L container in safe keeping!! :-)

Aha, a fellow Plymothian in these parts. Pull up a chair, good sir, and welcome.

I'm from Plymouth as well, heading for Le Mans 2010 (my eighth visit since my first in 1999 (well done BMW that year and congrats to Peter Dumbreck for his impromptu aerobatics, degree of difficulty for that manouvre is the full five stars).

I'll be heading over on the 0800 sailing from Plymouth on the Tuesday and should be heading back on the 0830 sailing from Roscoff the Monday after the race.
