The Support Races 2016

For the first time for many years there will be no historic support race.

This is a seven Round series this year with four classes (the Trofeo Pirelli, Trofeo Pirelli Am, Coppa Shell and Coppa Gentlemen for drivers over 55), featuring the Ferrari F458 Italia EVO model.

The Schedule

• Wednesday 15th June 2016 - 14:30 - 15:30 - Free practice session
• Thursday 16 June 2016 - 16:30 - 17:00 - Qualifying session
• Saturday 18 June 2016 - 10:00 - 10:45 - Race

This is a new A.C.O./L.M.E.M. series for 2016 featuring GT3 and LM P3 cars which will support 5 ELMS rounds with 2 hour races (not at Silverstone) and will also include full season LM P3s from the ELMS and Asian Le Mans Series and maybe other entrants at the discretion of the A.C.O.

• Bronze drivers only allowed to take part in qualifying.
• In GT3 there can be 1 driver (Bronze) or 2 drivers (one Bronze driver and one Bronze, Silver or Gold - no Platinum drivers allowed).
• In P3 there can be 1 driver (Bronze) or 2 drivers (one Bronze and one Bronze or Silver – no Gold or Platinum drivers allowed).
• The winning GT3 car of the 2016 series, will receive an automatic entry in GTE Am at Le Mans for the LM 24 Hour race in 2017. *
