Has the new tram system come to reality, and hence has the Stella Bar been closed??  Or is there a chance that the Tram system may be like most UK transport systems and not actually happen until two or three years later than planned.

In short, any news on when the Stella Bar will close??  Cry  Any chance it may still be there for Pre-Qualifying even if not for the actual race.

You don't win Le Mans - you outlast it.

It was still there in November and I think it was even open. Even though the shutters were closed I could see some people through the door. I saw it when I was starting my lap from Tertre Rouge down the Hunaudieres. I think they kept the shutters closed to keep the horrible weather outside. Grin

Maybe it should be opne for PQ and June race.

The owner change last year (late 2003) so it may not close in 2004. We even can expect a 2005 opening.

Tram works are stopped until public authorities have complete fundings of this operation.

2004 is a political year here in France with 4 different votes.

Such public works are a total mess and local politicals won't start this mess before to save their place  Tongue
