As a sweetener for august bank holiday, couple of images for us too look at.

Go to this website, http://maps.google.co.uk/ , enter DE74 2RP, for the post code and zoom out and select hybrid view. in the bottom left-0habd corner will be Parkfarm Hotel and their campsite.  Looks very enticing.

The images below show where the camping is in relation to the pits and paddock area, just a short 5 min stroll.  Also aerial shot looking form EMA over the circuit towards Redgate etc.

Right booked the campsite!! £51!!!! for three nights!!! Bloody expensive for a UK site.

Friday afternoon arrival, Monday Leaving. With Electrics on the CA Enclave!

Bringing the Baby Motorhome along but will still have space for extra kit. I will have two fridges with me aswell as a BBQ and a Gazeebo. I can collect some stuff from JPC if we require more equipment.

See you at Donnington!

I was a dumb fool for putting Friday morning, confusion set in as I am also doing a big sponsored Cycle that day as well!!
More to follow!

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

I've been doing that all week.   Very disappointing when you finally work out it's a school day after all.   Sad

Sorry lads and lasses, I'm all "Opps Upside Ya Head" still with my new contract which is really screwing up my time/social life and family holiday.

Looking like I'll be able to make it but still cannot commit until the holiday in the Med is booked! Still happy to lend whatever kit might be required of course even if I can't make it (but definately hoping to be there!

How are they booking pitches? i.e........is??

One Car and One Tent = One Pitch
One Car and Two Tents = Two Pitches

i.e. If I can only commit at the last minute and jump in a car with someone else, can I pitch an extra tent somewhere?

I know it's probably already covered somewhere or it's on a web site but I'm tired and Knackered.

BTW, can't see anything about Smokie attending?? I thought he was going to every race under the stars this year??

One Car and Two Tents = Two Pitches  - YES

It is charged per tent plus number of adults for each  night with 1 car per tent included - if you see what i mean!

So it would cost the same if you jump in someone else's car and have your own tent as it would if you drive down on your own and have your own tent!

Clear as mud?

Nah I won't be there. That was a half-assed plan which had no chance of success,  Smiley

Next one for me is probably Nurburgring next weekend.

Hmm, I have reserved space for one 'normal' tent, one 'frame' tent and one motorhome-7.
And 12 adults all squeezed in there Grin

No probs JPC, we can probably squeeze you in somewhere if needed. There are some DfH-members which have fond memories of sharing large bedrooms with you (Spa)

Well done Rick - see you there.

Why was yours so cheap?  Mine was £69 for 3 nights.
