Liverpool Boys added and I also add R13 which was missing. The 'Dual Carriageway' is to the right of us. I suppose I better book a ferry and some time off. ;D
-
Have added my two. Thank God we're not up against the main roads again. Only just got rid of all the dust from 2011 >:(
-
Think that's wrong Paul, thought you were in Rang 11, not 5.
If so your're just behind the Scousers!
-
Wow, the French are organized...nothing quite like this regimentation at Sebring...there it's just one big cluster-f*ck in the Zoo.

The French organised!!!!!! :o
A few years ago they marked out the pitches as per plan, but left an entire row out!

Or there was the first year they had a numbered pitches on BN but completely lost control. They seem to have a better handle on it these days.
Tom.

Or the first year on MB and when we turned up they were still marking them out then they just gave up. ;D

You're correct, Barry.
Have moved us to behind the LB's ;D
-
I've received a preliminary site plan from Andy at TL and it would appear that we have pretty much exactly the same spaces as we've had the last 3 years.
I'll wait until the tickets have with arrived Andy to confirm the exact row numbers just in case there are any differences. I'll then sort the allocations but we have 44 places all together spread over 95,96,98,99, 101 and 102.
Between both Werner and us there will be plenty of power and running water.
Tickets should be posted out early May.

At Sebring they put numbers on the fences for the reserved RV parking and everything else...and I do mean EVERYTHING else is a free for all. I guess it's all relative.

Frightfully sorry old bean, but I rather think you are getting a little mixed up. You see the LB's would not be seen dead amongst the riff raff of Poo Nord or whatever it's called these days. No, the LB contingent will be enjoying slightly more refined surroundings over on Maison Blanche.

10 years ago MB was first come first serve as well.
No pitches no numbers.
Last years its even so that pitches stay empty on saturday because ticket offices buy them on wholesale.
If they sell 80% of their tickets they are sattisfided.

I noticed the gaps at MB too. Words like pi$$ up and brewery come to mind.
Looking back at old photos we did take up a bit more space than 5x7, and there were gaps between groups.
You'll never get me back in Poo Nord

BN does have some advantages.
Security is now a lot better, if you ain't got a ticket you don't get in, unlike MB where the great unwashed with a GA just wonder through during the race, some picking up what they fancy.
It's a lot easier to get in and out of by car/bike than MB.
Even the most distant areas of BN are a shorter walk into circuit than 50% of MB.
You can get pegs in the ground, at the Classic I was bending rock pegs!!
It's almost impossible to get tickets except at exorbitantly over inflated prices through agencies.
Camp C'Arnage is on BN.
The banking at MB is over rated, the best bits have been taken over by corporate, the rest I can get to, but wouldn't bother, see comment about great unwashed ;).
MB was the best camp site, but I would question that now.
Rose tinted glasses and all that.

See you on the banking again this year bazzer and bring that pretty pink hat you had last year, it really complimented your glasses... ;D
Hell, I am not sure I even know where BN is, funny I moved from Houx Annexe at the same time as most people moved from MB to BN!!
Am I trying to tell you something or is it the other way around?

I've been told by Team languistine that our tickets should arrive around the 4th of June. Till then I can only guess that we are somewhere similar to last year.

Marked our pitches. Might have a spare one, if someone's interested ...

Marked!

Tickets arrived this morning, plan updated.
-
Tickets are in my grubby mitts, so the countdown takes on a new urgency. 8)
-
Plan updated, to the correct places, duh.
Robbo, I think you'll find your 6 places south of where you've marked too mate.
-
Whose on Rang 6 91 & 92?
You forgot to fill in the key.

Thanks Rusty, changed!!

Tickets collected from the post office and were are Rang 17-21 Place 96. So that looks long and thin to me, which is a real shame as it would be much better if we'd been in a block rather than a row.
Could someone less idiotic than me please apply these to the plan under the group Garyfrogeye & Co
Cheers
-
With regards to Garyfrogeye's request can somebody check to make sure we're in the right place for us, I might have it right
even more probably got it wrong :(

Adjusted it slightly Bill, some very computer savvy people have misread the spread sheet, you not the first or I suspect the last. : )

They're in 7x5m plots Gary, the plan doesn't reflect the actual shape.

AHA thanks Barry I did wonder. So the RANG number is the black line down the left hand side. In the graph not the spread sheet side numbers - gottit!
Cheers.
bill (and no doubt Gary Bob and Ant et al) ;)
-
Thank God for pointing out the mistake. I'd hate to think that we were camping anywhere noisy!
Cheers for the clarification Rusty. I should be able to squeeze the frogeye and a tent into a 7m x 5m plot. ;D
-
Gary, if you have a problem squeezing anything in, i'm sure we can help you out, we are origami black belts, and we also do a very nice line of LM macramé, all for sale over the weekend. Get in before we sell out

In process of getting the laptop back into working order - currently, it won't let me see the whole spreadsheet or update it - if some kind soul could annotate it with MG Mark and Elanman plus associated chaps in Rows 13-18, Places 20 and 21 in each row, that would be great.

What are the facilities like on Blue Nord. First time back after 10 years away. Stayed in beausjour last time and too far away from track

You will see a world of difference on BN, 10 yearsago it was just a car park which allowed camping and 1 bog by the entrance. Now it has proper bogs and showers in the centre (behind the JustTickets (?) enclosure, which is a pain if you have to walk around it but heyho). As you probably know the pitches are numbered and well organised.
-
As we have our tickets for this year, how do we get a blank site plan so we can update ???

You have to clear the old one for which I've done and put into a new thread
http://www.clubarnage.com/forum/index.php?topic=12069.0 (http://www.clubarnage.com/forum/index.php?topic=12069.0)
And I can't find our pitches but I seem to remember that last year the missing ones started to jump over a row as the spaces ran out. We were at the bottom of our row but it continued with people from the row behind (if that makes sense)
