F**k the Weather, The Ginger Tornado is about to hit HA Nord.
Most Regiments have a goat or a pony as a mascot. The Brethren now have THE VIPER >:D
I maybe pissed!

Pistonheads pal sent me this
-
Guys, it's a dry rain!
-
i just hope it dry's out a bit before i get there :o
-
What's all the fuss about? Carrefour sell canoes don't they? ;D
And if it was all dry, people would be bitching about not being able to get the tent pegs in, and the world famous HA dust getting everywhere. And I mean everywhere. My 'crevices' are just getting back to normal.
Anyhoo, if it's cold, the hawaiian tropic girls will be niptastic. At least I know how they get their tans. They slather themselves in glue, and run round HA in the dust trail of a goped. ;D
I do wonder if the other nationalities who visit LM are as obsessed with the weather as we are, or is it a peculiarly 'british' preoccupation, born out of an overwhelming sense of akwardness when in social situations.
-
Pistonheads pal sent me this

-
Come on guys look on the positive side of things, all that water rushing through the tunnels will clear the smell of P*ss from the moto gp ;D

No, not british at all, the Dutch also do it all the time. But like I said, it's going to be a dry rain!
Don't worry to much Kev, they very seldom get torrential rains like that, as do we here in the south of Holland, and we got more then our share for the past couple of days, it will be fine, and if not, you'll be to pissed to notice, so who cares ;D

not that my car is the same style i must add before someone else does ::) :P
-
So far long range on Metcheck says showers for the week and race.
I'll get wetter from bottles of beer when I fall over into a puddle knowing my luck.

Can anyone give a general rundown on the conditions of the campsites during and post deluges.
-
I think we all know how fast the water drains from the sites from bitter experiance!
I would guess that if its not raining now it will be dry in a day or so.
-
Can anyone give a general rundown on the conditions of the campsites during and post deluges.
In general terms - wet and muddy. :)

i can't tell you how much i'm hoping the weather is good this year! i don't fancy wading in mud again...
-
View from the Big Tent Bar up the top end on Saturday afternoon. Light Drizzle.
-
Still only long range weather reports which is still a bit of a gamble.... but it is suggesting sunshine for race weekend at the moment. Fingers crossed.
-
well dad said yesterday and sunday where really nice days over there near Lemans so fingers crossed!!
anyone got any more updates?
-
I've got the French weather channel on at the mo' and the prediction is that the sun will be back by Sunday :). The prediction for next week is good, let's hope it stays that way. Around 23 Mon to Weds - they won't guess over a week ahead. A bit cloudy at the mo' and temperatures below average for the time of year (20) but hardly any wind and very mild at night.

As Barry said - Positive waves - No negative waves man!

Oddball: Crazy... I mean like, so many positive waves... maybe we can't lose, you're on! ;D
-
Louis from the French weather channel is still optimistic about next week. Temps up to and including Thursday are in the low twenties with no rain about thus far. :)
-
Be careful termie, remember Micheal fish.
"Earlier on today apparently a lady rang the BBC and said she heard that there was a hurricane on the way. Well don't worry if you're watching, there isn't." :-[
-
Don't worry, Brian, weekend forecast is yet to come! One of the sites which dares to predict the weather 10 days ahead is predicting thunderstorms during the race. But usually Meteo is pretty reasonable at these things.

Pah - they having a joke 10 days in advance its like Russian roulette that is ::)
-
the prediction from Wessex, is there will be plenty of weather for the complete week; 24 hours a day. The days will be light and dark depending when the sun rises and sets.
apart from that I couldn't care less what ever it is we're going to have a bloody marvelous time and may even watch some cars going around the track. 3 days and a wakeup ;D

I prefer to believe this one:-

That looks pretty perfect - fingers crossed!
-
Its looking good.
The only thing to consider is that the hotter it gets, the more difficult it is to keep the beer cold

Here's a link to the forecast for LFRM alias Le Mans - Arnage Airport

Looks like a coolish weekend with 20% chance of rain.

Hot weathers not exactly brilliant for camping though is it....
Tent gets too hot too soon when you want too lie in your pit till your head clears a bit..
When you do get up , the beer you have left is too warm and the walk to the bar is much more tiring.
If you manage to get back to camp in the searing heat you probably need to take a shower at least once during the weekend and thats 30 mins drinking/chilling time wasted just standing in the queue!
Now wet weather is another thing entirely........
-
Why does every weather site I look at has a different view of what the weather will be like ??? >:(

Same ???, My bags packed now so ill have to deal with whatever weathers thrown at me

It is a dark art this weather forecasting lark - few people have the necessary powers.
Anyway as long as it is not as wet as last year I won't be too bothered. I just want to get out there now but am stuck in work for another day after today. Aaaghhhhhhh!!
-
It's very breezy and cloudy this morning and none too hot. French weather channel is predicting maximum temperatures of around 20 over the weekend and some showers - just hope they're not like the PQ ones or the campsites will be impossible.
-
I knew I was being too hopeful when I bought some more suncream.
Will pack a waterproof jacket before I leave tonight.
Cheers
