And to the ACO congratulations must also be passed...

... except the idiot there who handed-over the campsite 'miss-management' to the morons in the orange coats. The Beasejour site was terrible.

I would love to join in this thread but, other than those posted by SimonR and Pam, I can see NO pictures at all...

Other than being useless at driving computers, can anybody think of a reason why the pictures are not visible to me..?   :'(

Probably your internet proxy preventing access to the photobucket site where the otehr images are hosted. I uploaded mine to the server as an attachement.

How do you save the pics on google earth. I've been trying to get one of my house but fail every time

Being lazy I just did a print screen and pasted them into Photoshop.

You can do some quite cool comparisons with Google Earth too...

Help / Re: Butane v Propane
« on: May 29, 2007, 01:58:36 pm »
I think the main difference is the pressure its stored at. Propane is stored at a higher pressure and has a lower freezing point so the cylinders/regulators work okay in the winter... hopefully not too much of a problem for next month!

Check out the Sandisk prices at http://www.warehouseexpress.com/. Cheap-as-chips at the moment. Annoyingly I got a few more cards while I was in Hong Kong in January, only to see them half-price at Warehouse Express.

Part P of the building regs could be used as a big stick if you did any electrical work in the bathroom.

Tip off the LA building inspector and get them to go round  ;)

I watched about the first 5 minutes of the F1 - did a bit of work on the car - then watched a bit of the IoM TT - now those guys a mad!

I do have the benefit of a spare engine in the car, so worse comes to the worse I'll just run on one engine... that's not as much fun as two, but is great for fuel economy  ;)

I'm leaving for Le Mans on Tuesday evening - only a minor problem... the car is in bits. The rear clutch slave cylinder had seazed and done in the oil seal on the clutch pushrod.

I've ended up having to pay £16 (for a 96p part!) to get a new oil seal delivered before 10am on Tuesday.

Tuesday is going to be quite busy!!

I'm just taking a read through, it's excellent  :). I'll sneak in a couple of prints to the colour printer at work in the morning.

I'll be there again in the Z100... now this thing is bloody loud (it's 3 straight-cut gearboxes that does it!). Even wearing a crash helmet and custom-made ear plugs, by ears are still ringing when I get down there  ;D

... subject to my last bit of tinkering going to plan at the weekend.

Help / Re: Taking Beer Into The Track On Foot - Problem?
« on: June 06, 2006, 01:30:09 pm »
The only time we've had problems is when trying to openly carry packs of beer in (although this does depend on the person on the gate). Coolbox/bags full of beer seem to be okay.

A couple of years ago we jumped over the barrier and joined in with the Hells Angels on our mini-scooters.

The chain fell off mine when we were messing about, so ended up getting pushed all the way round by a marshal!
