Cutting it fine?
« on: June 11, 2006, 04:29:38 pm »
I'm leaving for Le Mans on Tuesday evening - only a minor problem... the car is in bits. The rear clutch slave cylinder had seazed and done in the oil seal on the clutch pushrod.

I've ended up having to pay £16 (for a 96p part!) to get a new oil seal delivered before 10am on Tuesday.

Tuesday is going to be quite busy!!

I do have the benefit of a spare engine in the car, so worse comes to the worse I'll just run on one engine... that's not as much fun as two, but is great for fuel economy  ;)

And lets face it, 2 engines is just greedy!

We only have half an engine this year as we've been relegated to the VW Tank Passat TDI thing.....because SOMEONE sold the MG....... ::)

Good luck with the engine though ;)
