yup, just tryin to sort it out now, question will it be ok to kip in the back of my escort van in the carpark as I just dont fancy tenting it, have never been before so dont know the lie of the land, are the car parks far from the circuit, which carpark is best, closest, water, toilets etc? cheers
Sleeping in the back of your car would be fine. Most people there seem to sleep in their car van or just put a tent next to it. (unless you are Dutch, Drunk, remember where your car keys are and where you put you tent!) I think it is P3 where you should head but basically after leaving Francorchamps village, go past the fuel garage on your right, take the Left at the roundabout and follow the road, Take the right to the main car park. Don't think it is the first turning but I know it is tarmac and usually signposted media etc. Hope to make it myself but looking unlikely now. Enjoy it, one not to be missed. Chris DH just told me you are driving down on thursday?? And now it is unlikely? Can't follow!

I'll take them Ian, if nobody else beat me to it. Do they state on the tickets that they have to be exchanged at the information center? Cause last time for the 1000 km they did check ID when I picked up my ticks! How Deb will recover soon, give her my best!

Not sure about P3 though Rick! Usually the 24 hours is busy by that time, but P4 is just across the road from P3. It has a few advantages, it is reasonable flat and more spacious. Other then that it should be fine. I am planning on getting there friday morning or sat morning.

Hi BigH, I have driven through paris a couple times using the boulevar peripherique. I can recommend it, in stead of using the big ring around paris. Having said that, the BP is pretty easy, but busy, specially round lunch time. You could use the big ring, but that will add about an hour to your travel time. The BP will take you roughly 15 min. to get thru it. Plus you get close up views of the eiffel tower
