Congratutions to our colleagues who like to hit small balls with long sticks, the showing by your countrymen in our national championship was fricking ridiculously brilliant.  As I said, the Ulsterman kid kicked-ass, took names , and layed waste to the worlds best in our capital.
Well done blokes!

FANTASTIC, Stayed up to watch a great game of golf.
Roll on June and the lush grass of BN!!!

That was a beatdown of epic proportions.  Hopefully the kid can remove old what's-his-name from our collective memory.

Well done.
I stole DelBoy's lighter and lived to tell the tale.

What is this sport GLOF that you speak of?

Are there any GLOF circuits near here ;D ;D ;D
Baldrick, my Lord! But I can change it to Ploppy if it'll make things easier.

That's what I play...GLOF!  Most of the people I know who really play well, including my father & brother, take one look at my swing and usually end up in the fetal postion laughing hysterically.
Agreed Chop, after the epic fall from grace, and decline in skills from Nike's golden boy, there's a fantastic group of ridiculously talented young players ready to ascend to his former postion at the top of the game.  Hopefully they won't turn out to be asshole's of his proportions.

Sounds like you play the form of golf that I do Fax, slice and hook.  ;)

The steps, Steve, the steps.... I'll never forget you running down the steps chasing a ball that was bouncing tantalisingly close in front of you. I nearly died laughing.

Umbungo!
I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

;D  Not one of my finer moments.  Just as well we didn't continue onto the back 9.

i was lucky enough to watch the opening day on thursday. watched rory on a couple of holes and lots of other golfers as well. i live 15 minutes from the course where they played. i kept reffering to the different holes as turns "lets head over to turn ten. lets see bubba on turn 7"

awesome performance from mcilroy. i felt lucky to see some of it.
