Robbo, whilst you were cheering on the MGs in the BTCC at Thruxton, I was watching a slightly different MGZS run at Santa Pod.

Whilst it looks like a ZS, it has a full race chassis with the panels 'hung' on and the little 4 pot engine has been heaved out and replaced with a somewhat larger 427 cubic inch (7 litre) V8 - music to my (slightly deaf) ears.  ;)

Whilst this isn't the MG, I'll share with you this picture I took today to give some 'feel' for the ambience - note the header flame and plenty of heat haze, shimmer and nitro fumes  :o
