This year Bobblehat Racing has decided not to go for Grandstand seats (most of us a skint this year :() So apart from in the scrum of the start/finish line, were else would anyone recomend to see the start?

Last year we decamped to the Porsche Curves for the first couple of hours.
I've come to believe that Le Mans is the centre of the universe.

Either side of the Esses is good.  The 'new' Esses enclosure on the inside of the circuit gives a good view back up to the Dunlop Bridge.

We always watch the start at Tetre Rouge. Cars up to speed and have seen some great tussles for the first lap lead here over the years.
Always attracts a large crowd throughout the race and a couple of bars too, pity the ACO dosn't stick a big screen there.
There is a corner of a foreign field that will be forever England ------ Houx Annexe

And the bastards have built on it.

We are usually in the Grandstand these days but if I were elsewhere I'd have to agree with Steve Brown. Either side of the approach to the Esses would be my choice.
A man's got to believe in something. I believe I'll have another drink - W.C. Fields

Thats because you can actually see something there from what I can make out!!

Mulsanne corner is quite good.

Andy

Just before Dunlop bridge, always a scum there to get through first chicane and some cars always end up in the Kitty Litter.

Before the ACO put that kink after the dunlop bridge, that was great spot to watch. I will never forget standing at the bottom of the hill looking up to the dunlop bridge.

chrisbeatty

We tend to sit by the Ford chicane, you kinda get to see the run to the line, the cars are slow & close enough as they pass & it gives you a good idea of how the cars are doing relative to the others.

SpriteII

Yup, infield of esses near parking Vert and Chapelle.

Rhino

We watch from the Mulsanne corner.
Never argue with an idiot, they'll only drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
